We have an office in Morbi

Our Gujarat operations run from City Point Complex, Mahendranagar Circle, Halvad Road, Morbi. Gujarat is not a state we visit - it is a state we work in, which matters because GPCB's procedures and expectations are genuinely different from those in Maharashtra.

Morbi's ceramic cluster and what it needs

Morbi is India's largest ceramic tile manufacturing cluster, and that concentration shapes the compliance profile of the whole area. The dominant issues are not the same ones we deal with in Maharashtra's chemical belt:

  • Air emissions above all. Kiln and spray dryer emissions, particulate matter and combustion products drive most of the monitoring workload here.
  • Fuel transitions. Movement between coal gasifiers, natural gas and other fuels changes the emission profile - and a changed emission profile means the consent needs revisiting.
  • Cluster-level scrutiny. Where a large number of similar units sit together, regulatory attention tends to arrive for the whole cluster at once rather than unit by unit.
  • Ambient air monitoring. Density of units makes ambient monitoring a recurring requirement rather than an occasional one.

Working with GPCB

Units in Gujarat are regulated by the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB). The underlying statutes are the same central Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981, but application procedures, portals, fee structures and timelines are administered at state level and differ from MPCB in Maharashtra. Applying to one board using the other's assumptions is a reliable way to collect a query round.

We work with both boards regularly, which is useful for groups operating plants in both states and needing consistent documentation across them.

Services across Gujarat

Beyond Morbi we work with clients across Rajkot, Halvad, Wankaner and the wider Saurashtra industrial region.
