Serving Mumbai and Navi Mumbai from Thane district
Our office in Ambernath sits within comfortable reach of the Mumbai metropolitan region, and a large share of our work is with units in Navi Mumbai, Taloja, Rabale, Turbhe and Mahape, alongside corporate offices in Mumbai itself.
The industry mix here is different
The Taloja MIDC and TTC MIDC estates hold a heavy concentration of chemical, pharmaceutical and specialty manufacturing. Two consequences follow.
Effluent from these units is typically high in COD and often high in TDS, and its composition changes between campaigns - which is precisely what conventional biological treatment struggles with, and why zero liquid discharge requirements appear so often in consent conditions here.
The same units also handle hazardous chemicals at quantities that bring process safety obligations into play. HAZOP studies, QRA and MAH analysis are a routine part of our Mumbai and Navi Mumbai workload in a way they are not for lighter industrial areas.
Corporate work, not just plant work
Mumbai is where a lot of the head offices are, and the requests that arrive from them are different in character: a customer has asked for emissions data, an EcoVadis scorecard is due, or an export contract has raised carbon reporting questions. That work - GHG inventories, sustainability consulting and ESG ratings - is handled by the same team.
